Private Export Funding Corporation (PEFCO) welcomes you to the PEFCO Small Business Lender Council.

Who We Are
The PEFCO Small Business Lender Council is a network of lenders that support the small business programs of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank). Small business has been a core focus of Ex-Im Bank’s mission for many years. Ex-Im Bank devotes significant resources to providing small businesses with access to export finance. The PEFCO Small Business Lender Council is an important component of the Ex-Im Bank effort.

The PEFCO Small Business Lender Council is a PEFCO initiative. PEFCO’s goal in creating the Council is to harness the skills of lenders with extensive experience in export finance and Ex-Im Bank programs for the benefit of small businesses that might not otherwise have access to them. Members of the Council include banks and trade finance companies. Many Council members are small businesses themselves.

Associated with the Council are non-lenders that provide small businesses with consultation and other services related to export finance.

Who Needs Us
Small business exporters seeking a reliable lender to finance their exports.

Overseas importers seeking a reliable lender to finance their imports from the United States.

Banks and other lenders not able to provide Ex-Im Bank-related export finance support for their clients, because they do not have the resources themselves or a transaction is outside their operating guidelines but they want to support their client.

HOW WE CAN HELP
Small businesses and overseas importers can obtain export finance support from Council members on a transactional, project-specific or whole-turnover basis.

Banks and other lenders can provide export finance support for their exporting clients by using Council members, who are always respectful of the originating lender-client relationship, as an outsource resource.
